Mariah Carey has just made this the “hottest” Broadway ticket.

On Sunday, the pop diva, 52, made an unexpected appearance at the Broadway premiere of “Some Like It Hot” – but not in the way you’d think.

Carey, who works as one of the show’s producers, introduced the audience to an audio tape at the opening of the program.

According to People, Carey could be heard saying, “Welcome to the Shubert Theatre.” Please turn off your cell phones and remember that the use of photographic equipment and recording devices is strictly prohibited at this time.

Reportedly, Carey’s statement pleased the audience, but also generated some commotion backstage.

Several cast and staff members are captured on camera fake fainting upon hearing Mimi’s statement. In the meantime, other employees applauded and hooted.

Carey, who also acts as one of the show’s producers, addressed the audience via an audio tape at the beginning of the program.

According to the theater, Carey’s voice will greet attendees each night prior to the performance.

The Grammy-winning performer initially joined the production in late November, noting her admiration for Marilyn Monroe, who starred in the 1959 film on which the Broadway musical is based.

“I was originally introduced to this subject by the classic film featuring Marilyn Monroe,” Carey said in a statement. She has been such a significant figure in my life that I purchased her cherished baby grand white piano at auction.

“When [producer] Neil Meron told me about this new take on the cherished classic, I knew I wanted to be a part of it,” she said with excitement.

At the Shubert Theatre, “Some Like It Hot” stars Christian Borle, Adrianna Hicks (above), and J. Harrison Ghee.

Carey’s appearance in the performance, which garnered a lukewarm review from The Post, may offer some spark.
