A fellow diner at an In-N-Out burger in California racially insulted two Asian friends by asking if one of them was having gay sex with Kim Jong-un.
Arine Gabrielle Kim and her male companion, Elliot, were filming themselves eating at an In-N-Out restaurant in San Ramon, 34 miles east of San Francisco on Christmas Eve, when an unidentified man approached them and asked, “You’re filming yourself eating?” You are strange homosexuals.
Kim and Elliott were at the moment documenting themselves attempting off-menu dishes for her TikTok channel.
Incredulous, the two diners could not contain their laughter in the heat of the moment. The two buddies did not anticipate, however, that the man would approach them again and inquire whether they are Japanese or Korean.
Elliot disclosed his Korean heritage to his abuser.
Are you Kim Jong Un’s significant other? You have homosexual relations with him?’ the man then asked Elliot.
Kim repeatedly requested Elliot to cease speaking with the mysterious man after the tense exchange in an effort to defuse the situation. She then looks at the camera and declares, “This is not in the spirit of the season.”
After jokingly responding that he had only reached “second base” with the North Korean dictator, Elliot dares to ask him to dinner.
Kim then attempted to defuse any tension developing from the conversation between the two men by constantly begging her friend to “stop.”
The unidentified man threatened to spit in their faces in response.
The two companions attempted to move on and do their own business, but the man subsequently reappeared, identifying himself as a “slave master” and referring to Elliot as “Filipino s***” before challenging him to step outside.
Then, it appears like In-N-Out workers came to check on Kim and her buddy, who stated, “This is not in the spirit of the season.”
On Christmas Day, San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson tweeted a photo of a probable suspect after the guy was reported for exhibiting similar conduct at In-N-Out a day earlier.
On Christmas Eve, Arine Gabrielle Kim and her male friend Elliot were assaulted by an unidentified man at a San Ramon, California In-N-Out Burger. They received homophobic and racial comments as well as threats, and at one point, the man asked Elliot if he was Kim Jong-boyfriend Un’s and if he had sexual relations with the North Korean leader.
Elliot responded with snark and cheekily offered the suspect to join him for dinner.
Kim later informed KRON4 that the man harassed other minority customers after he returned to the restaurant to retrieve his meal. In addition, he would repeatedly make gestures at her and her buddy while smoking cigarettes outside, she said.
Due of their fear, they were among the last to exit the In-N-Out before it closed. Before running to their car, they requested a member of the establishment’s staff to determine if the man was lurking outside.
Kim told KRON4: “My friend and I were a bit spooked after the incident, but I’m just thankful we’re both safe and out of harm’s way.”
Saturday’s event took place at the In-N-Out Burger restaurant in San Ramon.
Later, her video went viral on social media, catching the attention of San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson.
Carlson shared her video and contacted her, and police will now examine the matter further.
Sunday, the local police chief posted a photo of a potential suspect driving a silver Ford Mustang with Florida license plates.
The image was captured on Christmas morning, when the unidentified male was exhibiting “similar behavior.”
