The City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service swiftly responded to the incident, dispatching around two dozen firefighters to the scene.

According to Jermaine Carelse, the spokesperson for the Fire and Rescue Service, the alert regarding the fire was received at approximately 12:30 on Tuesday.
