Magixx explains what he meant by referring to Chris Brown’s new single featuring Wizkid as ‘Stupid

Magixx, a Mavin Records signee, has defended labeling Chris Brown’s new track “Call Me Everyday,” which features Wizkid, as “stupid”.

The singer was criticized after tweeting, “This new Chris Brown and Wiz is stupid”.

Many Wizkid fans attacked him on social media for his now-deleted tweet.

In response to the backlash from Wizkid FC members, Magixx took to Twitter to clarify the rationale behind his statement.

To clear the air, he explained that he used “dumb” as slang for “dope.”

When asked why he deleted the tweet, the “Love Don’t Cost A Dime” singer replied that he deleted it because it was misunderstood.

He wrote, “I think my only mistake yesterday was deleting that tweet. Why? I felt it was being misunderstood.”

“Then this morning woke up to so many hate comments on my IG post, which goes to show how desperate these blogs are for comments and likes.”

“I’m a music lover and if you check my history of tweets, I only tweet about music that I love. STUPID is a slang for Dope.”

“I didn’t know I was going to get people hating for hyping a song, the irony. We really need to be better people. I’m so sick from all of these.

“I’ll be attaching the dictionary meaning to this tweet once again for clarity.”

Magixx also uploaded a screenshot from an internet dictionary in which stupid was defined as slang for “amazing.”

On Friday, Chris Brown released “Call Me Everyday” featuring Wizkid. The new song is from his upcoming album “Breezy.”

Chris Brown teased the nearly three-minute-long single earlier with a video of him dancing to the laid-back Afrobeats sound. Fans couldn’t get enough of the 30-second preview, declaring it the summer song of 2022.
