Madonna’s oldest brother Anthony Ciccone has died at the age of 66

Anthony Ciccone, the older brother of pop star Madonna, has passed away at the age of 66. Ciccone, who had been struggling with alcoholism, had been living on the streets of Michigan for several years.

The news was confirmed in a statement by Joe Henry, husband of Madonna’s sister Melanie Ciccone, who expressed his sadness at the loss of his brother-in-law.

Henry reminisced about their time growing up in Michigan and wrote: “My brother-in-law, Anthony Gerard Ciccone, exited this earthly plane last evening.

I’ve known him since I was 15, in the spring of our lives in Michigan so many years now gone.”
