An inquest heard that a motorcyclist died in a “head-on accident” after his motorbike collided with the vehicle of Love Island star Kem Cetinay.

Senior coroner Graeme Irvine launched the inquest into the 28-year-death old’s at East London Coroner’s Court on Friday.

Mr. Irvine stated that the court had not been provided with information on the driver of the other car, but that a suspect had been identified as a result of the police investigation into the event.

The accident reportedly occurred at 11:27 a.m. on August 4, and Mr. Griggs died at 12:04 p.m. the same day, the court heard.

A postmortem investigation revealed that several injuries and blunt force trauma caused the decedent’s death.

Senior coroner Graeme Irvine told the court, ‘This is an inquiry into the death of Thomas Griggs, a 28-year-old man who died on August 4, 2022 near Ivy Lodge Farm in Shepherds Hill, Romford.

“The reported time of death submitted to the court is four minutes after noon.”

This referral was presented to the court by the Metropolitan Police Service and pertains to the facts surrounding a motor vehicle collision that allegedly occurred at 11:27 a.m. on the same day as Mr. Griggs’ death.

The collision occurred outside Ivy Lodge Farm in Shepherds Hill on a “semi-residential roadway with one lane in each direction of the carriageway” with a speed restriction of 30 mph, according to court testimony.

Mr. Irvine stated, ‘According to reports, the automobile was traveling westbound while the motorbike was traveling eastward.

“According to reports, these two automobiles collided head-on. The issue is still under investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

“It appears that police have identified a suspect in relation to this inquiry, and I believe that individual should be classified as an interested party in this inquest.”

Mr. Griggs died shortly after the accident, despite efforts by the paramedics to rescue him.

Photos of the situation depicted Mr. Cetinay’s G-Wagon crumpled behind the police tape and the wrecked motorbike laying on the street.

After stopping at the scene, Mr. Cetinay reportedly passed a breath test and supplied authorities with a detailed statement.

His agency stated that Mr. Cetinay was uninjured and aiding authorities in the aftermath of the accident.

Yesterday the reality star finally returned to social media, beaming next to a little youngster as he penned: ‘Gym sesh with my little pal.’

For the exercise, the reality TV star was spotted wearing a black Puma T-shirt and pushing his hair out of his face while wearing a black Puma T-shirt.

The reality television personality was reportedly ‘traumatized’ and’shaken up’ following the deadly incident, which occurred at than 700 metres from Kem’s restaurant, Array, which he launched in July of last year.

Previously, a source told MailOnline, ‘Kem is distraught by what has occurred. No one could have predicted this awful catastrophe happening, as he is a prudent driver.

Kem has committed no harm, is not at fault, and is being handled as a witness by the police.

He is still struggling with the shock alongside his family and close friends.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the site of the accident and is presently supporting authorities with their investigations, according to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police Department following the crash. He wasn’t detained.

The investigation was postponed to 10 January 2023 at the same site.
