Photographer Laura posted a CCTV video of the theft of her Christian Dior rucksack at approximately 6.30 p.m. on Saturday, which cost more than £10,000, on Twitter.

Inside Acai Berry, a health food café on Wardour Street in Soho, the man can be seen dragging his leg toward the bag for a short period of time while sporting a pink polo t-shirt, baseball cap, and sunglasses.

‘They did nothing. The police didn’t even bother to look at the CCTV footage I was trying to show them.’

The man picked up the bag and held it low, carrying it on the opposite side of his body to the woman

Laura said that she was left ‘crying and crying’ by the theft, saying that she was ‘soo stupid’.

‘I have learnt a lot from this big trouble,’ she wrote. ‘I should have taken my responsibility to take care of it. I love London. Since I moved here, almost everyone I met was nice.

‘I worked hard for two years and finally purchased my devices. Crying and crying.’

The Metropolitan Police force was contacted for comment.
