Local sources suggest a teacher was placed on leave after a TikTok video accused him of wanting to “slam” a girl’s face against a wall

A teacher from Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California was reportedly placed on administrative leave after a TikTok video accused him of making violent comments in class.

A user identified @cajon student uploaded a video with the caption “A 53-year-old man saying this to a junior in high school” on October 12.

A male voice could be heard in the footage stating the location of the video’s filming, but there were no visible faces and the visual was partially blocked “She believes she is amusing. I want to slam her face against the wall because she is a rude, stubborn little brat.”

Underneath the video, the user attached a caption stating that the male voice belongs to an employee named “Mr. Bean.” According to the Cajon High School website, an English instructor with the name Robert Bean is employed at the school.

The post said, “I am a student at Cajon Highschool and wanted to shed light on what Mr. Bean says on a regular basis, as well as other things such as calling students and other teachers slurs.”

The video currently has over 96,000 views and over 550 comments. Several kids at the school appear to have written that they had unfavorable contacts with Bean at school.

Fox 11 reports that Bean was placed on administrative leave the morning of October 17th. The San Bernardino City Unified School District released a statement to the media source “We are investigating the claims made on social media. We are compelled to preserve the privacy of our employees in this subject, thus we are unable to discuss the topic further.”

The San Bernardino City Unified School District and Robert Bean did not reply promptly to Insider’s request for comment.

In the past, teachers have been terminated for contentious behavior after students filmed them in their classrooms and released the footage online. Insider reported in October 2021 that a teacher from Riverside, California’s North High School was placed on administrative leave after a student filmed her imitating Native Americans while wearing a paper headdress.

In a statement on its website, the Riverside Unified School District Administration described the individual’s behavior as “totally unacceptable,” and in February, NBC Los Angeles reported that she had been fired.
