Two brothers who starred in ITV reality show ‘Life on Marbs’ attacked a PR boss at an exclusive Mayfair club when women started dancing in their private booth, a court heard.
Old Harrovian Adam Graham, 32, and brother Jeffrey, 30, became ‘annoyed’ when members of the public starting dancing in their private area at the celebrity haunt.
The pair believed they had booked an area of the Maddox Club – which counts Prince Harry among its past famous guests – for friends and family, but uninvited guests started joining their party.
Tom Heslop, prosecuting, told Westminster Magistrates’ Court: ‘The two defendants began to get annoyed with members of the public dancing in their space.’
The pair, who recently set up a new luxury concierge business, appeared on the twelve-episode reality series Life on Marbs, which followed the lives of the glamorous residents living in the popular Spanish resort, in 2015.
Mr Heslop said the victim, PR manager Jacob Bohbot, was sat at a table with a group of women close to the Graham family.
The brothers thought the women were ‘getting in their space’ and complained to security about them dancing in their area, the court heard.
Adam claimed he ‘gently ushered away’ a woman who kept entering the area and Mr Bohbot remonstated to Jeffrey about her treatment. Jeffrey then struck Mr Bohbot in the face.
‘The victim then felt multiple hands hit him,’ said Mr Bohbot.
‘The victim was at the time uncertain as to who was hitting him, but Jeffrey and Adam were both punching as shown on CCTV. Jeffrey Graham begins the assault, he instigated it, and Adam joins in.’
George Dugbo, defending, said: ‘They went to the club after a family event.
‘They had reserved a private seating area and a female member of the public interfered with their personal space.
‘They referred this to the security guard a number of times before Adam gently ushered the female member of public away.’
Mr Dugbo said there was a ‘spur of the moment, emotional reaction’ from Jeffrey initially with Adam acting instinctively to protect his brother.
He said the brothers have written a ‘letter of apology and have taken steps of reaching out to the complainant.
The pair recently set up a new luxury concierge business, the court heard.
Magistrate Claire Harris said: ‘This would have been a very frightening incident not just for the victim but for other people there that night.
‘This is a serious incident where there are four types of injury. We hear there was a chipped tooth which is a lasting injury for some time.
But she added: ‘We have also taken into account your good character and remorse. We hope to never see you in court again.’
The Graham brothers, both of Willow Park Way, Aston-on-Trent, near Derby, admitted assault by beating.
Adam Graham received a 12-month community order with 80 hours unpaid work, whilst Jeffrey Graham, received a 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work.
Each brother was also ordered to pay £100 compensation to the victim, as well as £180 in court costs and fees.
They were also banned from the Maddox Club for the duration of their community orders.
Prince Harry, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Keira Knightly, P Diddy, Cesc Fabregas and Pharell Williams have all been photographed at the £450-a-year members only club, near Savile Row.
