KZN HITMAN ARRESTED AT ROADBLOCK SET UP TO CATCH HIM

On Thursday, July 28, after getting a tip, the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) police arrested an alleged wanted assassin on a bus bound for the Western Cape.

According to a spokesperson for the South African Police Service (SAPS), the arrest was made at a roadblock set up at the Marianhill Toll Plaza at around 10:45.

The 31-year-old suspect is sought in connection with a number of crimes, including kidnapping, hijacking, robbery, and attempted murder. According to authorities, his alleged crimes took place in Inanda, KwaMashu, Mayville, and other parts of KZN.

“A roadblock was put in place at the Mariannhill toll plaza with other law enforcement agencies. The suspect was travelling in a bus that was heading to the Western Cape,” said the police spokesperson.

The man was found to be in possession of a firearm and 90 rounds of ammunition hidden inside a suitcase. He is likely to appear in court soon.
