However, Haider Ackerman, the designer of Kylie’s dress, had some special requests to ensure that his work was shown off as best as possible.
In a behind-the-scenes video shared on YouTube, Kylie revealed that she was asked not to sit down or move one of her arms.
This request was made to make sure that the flamboyant train on her dress was displayed in the best possible way.

Haider Ackerman had some strict instructions for Kylie Jenner ahead of the Met Gala event.
The designer asked her not to sit down or move her arm while she was wearing the dress he created for her.
The dress featured a flamboyant train that would spread out behind her and be used as a shrug to add volume to the look.
The plan was for Kylie to drop the train at a certain point to create a wow factor, as many Met Gala creations have a gimmick to get the crowd’s attention.

Kylie Jenner’s final dress for the Met Gala featured a one-sleeved design with a curved neckline that cut halfway across her chest.
The dress also had a thigh-high slit up the front that allowed Kylie to move freely – or at least as much as Haider allowed her – as she posed for the cameras.
The video showed Kylie getting her glam done too, with her team going for a “90s Chanel runway” vibe.
Her long dark hair was styled in a messy up-do, with some curled strands hanging at her face.

Kylie attended the Met Gala with her sisters Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
Kendall wore a sequinned bodysuit from Marc Jacobs, while Kim wore an eye-catching pearl gown by Schiaparelli.
