Kuwait announces 1,012 new coronavirus infections

KUWAIT, 23rd February, 2022 – The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Wednesday listing 1,012 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, raising the tally of the contaminations to
616,409, according to the Kuwait News Agency.

Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that 1,926 new recovery cases were recorded increasing the whole count of the cured to 599,581.

He also reported two new deaths, with the death toll climbing to 2,533, adding that there were 77 cases at intensive care units, while the whole figure of the cases that continued to receive medical care amounted to 14,295.

Meanwhile, the number of the cases at the covid wards settled at 284.

Al-Sanad also reported that the number of the new PCRs reached 2,2049 with the total number of these examinations settling at 7.
