Reality celebrity and mother-of-two Andrea Thompson, the mother of Tristan Thompson, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 5.

On January 5th, Andrea Thompson, the mother of professional basketball star Tristan Thompson, passed suddenly. According to TMZ, Andrea experienced a heart attack at home and was transported to a local hospital, where doctors unsuccessfully attempted to resuscitate her.
According to the tabloid, Tristan and his “baby mama” Khloé Kardashian traveled a private plane from Los Angeles to Toronto in order to visit his relatives.
Together, Khloé and the professional basketball player have two children: True, age 4, and a baby boy.
Khloé’s mother Kris Jenner paid tribute to Andrea on Instagram. Andrea is the grandmother of both of Khloé’s children. In the post, Kris provided four photographs, the first of which depicts Kris, Andrea, Tristan, and Khloé.
The second photograph features Kris and Andrea. While the third image depicts Khloé and True with Andrea, the final image features only the professional basketball player and his mother.
“I am inconsolable by the sudden passing of Andrea, Tristan’s mother. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn, and Daniel. You were the most remarkable, devoted, unselfish, and devoted mother and such a kind, caring, and wonderful grandmother. What a boon you have been to your family! Andrea, I will miss you,” she wrote.
“I will miss your incredible spirit and light. Thank you for continually praying for us, raising us up, and bolstering our spirits along the path. Rest in peace, angelic beauty @realtristan13,” she said.
