Knicks secures ninth consecutive win

The Knicks secured their ninth consecutive win with a 131-129 double-overtime victory against the Celtics at TD Garden.

Even with the absence of Jalen Brunson due to a sore left foot, Immanuel Quickley delivered a career-high 38 points in 55 minutes of play to carry the team in crunch time.

Quickley scored seven points in the second overtime while Julius Randle struggled with fatigue. Randle still managed 31 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, while RJ Barrett added 29 and 11 rebounds, and Mitchell Robinson contributed 13 and 14 rebounds.

On the other side, Jayson Tatum scored 40 points for the Celtics but struggled with a 12-of-30 shooting performance, while Jaylen Brown chipped in 29.

With the win, the Knicks (39-27) tied with the Celtics for the most road wins in the NBA (20) and are back within a game of the fourth-place Cavaliers.
