Kim Kardashian shows her support for Brittny Gastineau at art show

Brittny Gastineau, a former wild child, is now sober and working on an art career, with the help of her longtime friend Kim Kardashian.

Gastineau, who starred in the 2005-2006 E! reality series “The Gastineau Girls,” is currently an art curator in Los Angeles, and recently curated a show with hip graffiti artist ZES.

On February 9, Kardashian, 42, examined Gastineau’s work in the exhibition “Sorry The Interruption” as part of the Los Angeles Frieze Art Fair at the Over the Influence Gallery.

Gastineau, age 40, told Page Six, “Kim and I have remained friends through thick and thin, and I am thrilled that she came to support me and my show.”

Before Kardashian’s marriage to former NBA player Kris Humphries, the KKW Beauty entrepreneur and the socialite were as close as brothers and sisters for years. Yet, the important women finally reconciled.

Kardashian, who has “extremely distinct [art] style and taste,” arrived at the exhibition “immediately after she had a Skims event,” according to Gastineau.

The former model continued, “I thought to myself, ‘Here is a woman who runs a billion-dollar business, has four children, and yet has time to assist me, so none of my other pals have an excuse.’”

The former party girl told us she was involved in the art scene while growing up in New York City and “began painting at the age of 12,” but was unable to “concentrate” on her love until she quit drinking.

She stated, “I’ve been sober for two years, and it’s allowed me to focus on the things that are more important and live a cleaner, happier life.”

While working as an art curator is “more fulfilling than being in the public eye,” it is “harder” than the entertainment sector, according to Gastineau.

She stated that working in the arts is more difficult than working in television. “People believe it’s so simple and glamorous, but it’s quite difficult. I enjoy collaborating with artists and watching their work come to life on canvas.”

Gastineau is the daughter of model Lisa Gastineau and renowned former New York Jets player Mark Gastineau, who has admitted to misusing drugs and alcohol during his NFL career in the 1980s.

She was previously linked to “Million Dollar Listing” broker Steve Gold, with whom she ended her relationship in 2018.

She stated on her present relationship, “I have no dating life whatsoever.” “The art world is my dating universe.”

Through March 12th, “Pardon The Interruption” is on display at Over the Influence Gallery in Los Angeles.
