Kim Kardashian shared a selfie with her 7-year-old son Saint on Instagram Story, calling him “cute” and asking her followers if there was anything better in life.
However, in the subsequent snap, Saint’s face was out of frame, and Kardashian explained that he had punched her in the eye and rolled over in his sleep.
She joked that it was “not as cute as I thought.”
Kardashian frequently features her children on social media, but she also works to shield them from negative news about their parents.
She wants them to grow up as “normal as possible,” as she mentioned in a podcast interview.
Kardashian is co-parents with her ex-husband Kanye West, and while it is challenging, she works hard to keep her children out of any conflicts.
She filed for divorce in February 2021, and the couple settled in November of the same year. West has reportedly moved on with Bianca Censori, while Kardashian dated Pete Davidson from 2021 to 2022.
