Khantse Radebe becomes WesBank Asset Based Finance CEO

With effect from 1 August 2022, Khantse Radebe will serve as the commercial and corporate segments’ Asset Based Finance (ABF) CEO under the direction of WesBank.

Khantse has served in a number of capacities during her time at WesBank, most notably serving for the past three years as General Manager for the Corporate & Institutional Segment.

Khantse has extensive knowledge and experience in this area of the business, according to Ghana Msibi, CEO of WesBank, who highlights this as a major hire.

Since joining the group in 2012, Radebe has developed solid networks and acquired the necessary experience inside the group and in the larger industry, which will put her in an excellent position to advance the company, according to Msibi.

Khantse served as the Chief Financial Officer of the ABF business before taking the helm as general manager, having previously served as the head of sales for the Direct Channel.

Radebe trained for her articles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and is currently registered as a chartered accountant CA(SA) (PwC).

She graduated from the FirstRand UCT Graduate School of Business Executive Accelerated Development Programme (ADP), and she also has an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch and a Certificate in Financial Markets from the Frankfurt School of Finance in Germany.

Msibi continues by stating that this is an exciting time for WesBank and praising Radebe for his up to this point significant contributions to the ABF business.
