Kevin Bridges, a Scottish comedian, has come under fire for making light of the Queen’s passing during his Glasgow performance by saying that “she won’t be the last elderly lady to die this winter.”
The West Dunbartonshire, Clydebank, 35-year-old comedian made the remarks last night during his performance for the Overdue Catchup tour at the Hydro in Glasgow.
He told the crowd that it was “the only concert to go ahead this evening,” that he had dressed in “a black suit as an homage,” and that “we’re going to go into another lockdown.”
In a TikTok video, the crowd erupted in amusement, but the comedian’s admirers were disgusted by his blatant mistakes.
Users criticised the 35-year-old for saying that the start of his programme marked the “end of his career.”

The audience cheered and applauded as he said, “Anyway welcome to the only f***ing show in Britain going forward this evening.” He chuckled as he said this.
