Kendall Jenner: My family is misrepresented

Kendall Jenner believes that her family is the subject of “so many false narratives.”

The reality television series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” catapulted the 26-year-old model to global fame, but Jenner believes the public still has an erroneous impression of her family.

She stated, “There are numerous erroneous narratives” (about us). So many people believe they understand you when they don’t even know half of the truth.

“It can feel extremely unfair because I am not like that. Occasionally, that can really get to me, and that’s terrible. Then I would look in the mirror and say, “I know who I am, so why does anything else matter?”

“Everything else is irrelevant.”

The brunette beauty also stated that she was “very overworked” in her early twenties and that taking a step back has done her “wonders.”

Speaking on the “On Purpose” podcast, she told presenter Jay Shetty, “The things that I’ve accomplished, including my work, I wanted to be a model when I was younger. I didn’t stop until I was 24, at which point I thought, “Okay, I believe I need to dial it back a bit.”

There was a core period of five years during which I was tremendously overworked, not at my happiest, and felt compelled to say yes to everything because I was so appreciative of my position.

Jenner finally decided to prioritize her own health.

She asserts that the new strategy has transformed her life.

“I was no longer happy, therefore I had to establish these limits for myself.

“I need to begin saying no when I can and putting myself and my wellbeing first. It has worked miracles for me.”
