Keir Starmer heads to Wimbledon as Labour leader plots bid to smash PM out of No10 immediately

In order to attend Wimbledon, Sir Keir Starmer took a break from the drama taking place at Westminster today.

On the day of the women’s semi-finals, the left-wing politician was seen relaxing in the opulent seats of Centre Court’s Royal Box with his wife Victoria.

Shortly after revealing a scheme to rapidly depose Boris Johnson from office, he made his way from SW1A to SW19.

The Prime Minister declared his intention to quit Downing Street this afternoon after seeing large segments of Tory MPs turn against him over the previous 48 hours.

But Mr. Johnson also made clear that he intends to hold in his position until a new Tory leader is chosen, which could take several weeks or perhaps months.

Many Conservatives are opposing the Prime Minister’s plan and want him out as soon as possible.

Sir Keir had previously tried to inflame the Tory civil war.

If the prime minister was not dismissed right once, he pledged to introduce a motion of no confidence in Mr. Johnson and the government in the House of Commons.

The Labour leader is essentially challenging the PM’s detractors in the Tory party to join forces with opposition parties to overthrow Mr. Johnson’s administration and remove him from office by force.

However, the strategy runs the risk of starting a general election, going into which Sir Keir would still have serious doubts about his own political future.

In response to the ‘Beergate’ charges that he violated Covid policies by serving a drunken curry in April of last year, he has repeatedly threatened to quit himself if Durham Police imposes a fine.

Sir Keir remarked in response to Mr. Johnson’s resignation announcement: “He needs to go totally; none of this nonsense about hanging on for a few months.”

He has caused turmoil, fraud, and deceit in the nation.

We are trapped with a dysfunctional government in the midst of a cost-of-living catastrophe.

Everyone who has supported him should feel completely ashamed of themselves.

Sir Keir said, “He needs to go, he can’t cling on in this fashion,” in a

letter to Tory MPs. Finally, his own party came to the conclusion that he was unqualified to serve as prime minister.

“They can no longer impose him on the nation for the foreseeable future.”

And Sir Keir made good on his threat to call a vote of no confidence if the PM didn’t leave No. 10 right away, saying: “If they don’t get rid of him then Labour will step up in the national interest and introduce a vote of no confidence.”

We cannot continue with this Prime Minister hanging on for many more months.

A fellow Mr. Johnson critic joined Sir Keir in the Royal Box at Centre Court as the ex-Conservative leader’s wife Ffion and Tory grandee Lord William Hague also took in a tennis match.

Keeping Mr. Johnson as PM would be “like trying to drive down the M1 with two flat tyres,” Lord Hague remarked last month.

The Labour leader loves sports and even ran into controversy with parliamentary officials because of it.

An investigation was started last month after allegations that Sir Keir twice violated the MPs’ code of conduct regarding declaring interests.

According to rumors, it has something to do with book royalties and complimentary football tickets that were registered late.

The Labour leader received more than $2,000 worth of tickets from Premier League teams Watford and Crystal Palace in April.

Both games were attended by Sir Keir, who supports the Arsenal squad.
