Kaizer Chiefs are merely unlucky to be behind the pace

Yusuf Maart, a midfielder for the Kaizer Chiefs, attributes the club’s troubles this season on bad luck.

He believes the squad has created opportunities but has lacked luck in front of the net.

Chiefs are currently sixth in the PSL standings, 25 points behind Sundowns in first place.

Additionally, an Orlando Pirates icon will unexpectedly return to football.

Maart was impressed by the Brazilians’ reliability.

“You cannot take from them what they have. We have also been trying to win, but our luck has not been on our side this season. Nevertheless, we may need to work on this as a team. If they win the league, then it’s game over. According to TIMES LIVE, Maart stated, “There’s nothing we can do about it.”

“The year began poorly for us. And from my perspective, we are creating opportunities but are unable to score due to bad luck.”

“At the end of the day, it’s God who makes things happen, and there are some things you cannot control. You cannot be outraged about circumstances that are beyond your control. Maart remarked, “If it’s not there, it’s not there; life continues.”

Maart is currently responsible for training Samkelo Zwane to replace Njabulo Blom, and he is not focusing on what might have been.

“We are pleased with Blom’s current position. However, we must continue with the strategy. Samkelo is there, and we are assisting him in adjusting,” Maart said.
