On Monday, Justin Long posted a lengthy birthday message to his girlfriend and “best friend” Kate Bosworth on Instagram.
“She is 40! Even when we’re not together, she is the finest part of my day,” the 44-year-old actor wrote in his love letter.
“She laughs without inhibition. She always makes me laugh the same way.”
The “He’s Just Not That Into You” singer then described how Bosworth sees beauty “everywhere and in everyone” and praised her generosity.
“She is grateful to everyone, even while she is hurting,” he wrote. “She is quite compassionate and incapable of causing harm, yet she can be a rascal. She delights in teasing.”

Long became intimate, stating that his girlfriend has the “softest lips” he’s ever kissed, before elaborating on more reasons why he loves her.
“She enjoys football and alcohol more than I do” (and I love beer and football). He said, “She is the strongest person I have ever encountered. She is ferociously committed to the truth.” “She is a delight to work with. She is the most enjoyable companion for all activities. She has a genuine interest in people and the world. She improves every aspect of my life, including my favorite tunes and films, trips, sunsets, and Chinese food.”
And the effusiveness continued. Long stated that in addition to being the “best person” he knows, Bosworth is an exceptional friend, an exceptional baker, and “purely good.”
Long considered the actress his closest companion.
“She works to improve, yet she is the most admirable person I know. She will do whatever it takes for her buddies. “During the holidays, her generosity makes my parents slightly uneasy (she also bakes the tastiest cookies),” he explained. “She is the most lovely person I’ve ever encountered. She is entirely moral. She will confront anyone who is not respectful. She has genuine honesty and courage.”
Long closed his lengthy letter by revealing that Bosworth was sitting next to him as he composed the message while she worked on her own.
“Her grin is by far my favorite. “She is sitting next to me and writing her own Instagram post, which I know will be eloquent, humorous, and profoundly honest because she is all of these things,” he stated. “One day, she will create such a wonderful, inspiring book.”
He said, “She is my pride. She is my closest ally. “Happy Birthday, HANSAY!”
Several of the couple’s renowned acquaintances swarmed the comments section to congratulate Bosworth’s birthday and their passionate relationship.

Following Bosworth’s divorce from estranged spouse Michael Polish, Page Six announced in December 2021 that the two were dating.
Earlier that year, she and Long met while filming a movie in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
And since going public, they have never stopped flaunting their affection. They displayed PDA on their trip to Hawaii in April 2022 and resembled adolescents in love in May 2022. Additionally, they had a romantic trip to Ireland.
In June of last year, Bosworth also took to Instagram to celebrate Long’s 44th birthday by posting her own gushing message about him.
“You were born today, and the world was illuminated brighter than it had ever been, and years later you met a girl whose life was disassembled / rearranged, but you were patient, and with time she fell in love, and now she has a glow (one that had been forgotten for a very long time) for which she is more grateful than you’ll ever know,” she wrote at the time, alongside several photos of herself with the actor.
Bosworth filed for divorce from Polish in July 2022, a year after the couple separated following nearly eight years of marriage.
Long previously dated Drew Barrymore intermittently from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, he was formerly linked to Amanda Seyfried.
