After a 13-10 defeat to the Steelers on Saturday night in which the offense struggled mightily, Josh Jacobs lashed out at his team.

According to Jacobs, “Yeah, dude, it’s bulls-t, for real,” was his statement. It is nonsense. And, you know, it’s our fault. Everyone wants to discuss the defense first. They arrived at their designated destinations on time. S-t, we have to assist them. And it’s simply annoying that I keep saying things like, “We have to f-king help them out.”

With Jacobs being restricted to a pitiful 44 yards on 15 runs, the 6-9 Raiders could only produce 58 running yards and 201 total yards of offense. Despite this, Las Vegas led the game late, 10-6, until Pittsburgh took the lead with 46 seconds remaining on a Kenny Pickett touchdown throw of 14 yards to George Pickens.

The 24-year-old running back, who is in the last year of his rookie deal, is eager to leave his current situation.

According to The Athletic, Jacobs said, “I’m weary of dealing with this.” “I come in here every day and kick my ass, and I see men doing the same, but the results aren’t there. The outcome has not been there for me during the last four years. Sincerely, I am at a loss on what to do.

The Raiders were 10-7 last year, their best record since 2016, and they entered the playoffs for the first time since falling to the Bengals in the wild-card round. They have had trouble maintaining consistency this season under Josh McDaniels on either side of the ball and seem destined to miss the playoffs.

Jacobs, who leads the NFL in running yards with 1,539, was especially displeased with the inability to run the ball on Saturday.

We still had play-making possibilities, he remarked. “I think there were occasions when we felt like we were going to catch the big one, but we backed off. However, to win those games, particularly in the last minutes, especially [when] you’re up against a team like this in the cold, you’ve got to run the ball. The pass game was effective in the early going, so it is what it is. Therefore, that affects everyone engaged, from top to bottom.
