Johnny Depp’s attorney won’t represent Kanye West

Camille Vasquez, Kanye West’s prominent attorney, will no longer represent the controversial rapper.

According to TMZ, Johnny Depp’s attorney, who represented the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor during his defamation trial against Amber Heard, will not deal with the “Jesus Walks” actress at her law firm Brown Rudnick.

West, who officially changed his name to Ye, reportedly sacked the company after leaving the door open to work with him again on the condition that he renounce his slew of anti-Semitic remarks.

His talent agency, CAA, has also recently severed connections with Ye in response to his recent remarks.

The “Stronger” hitmaker had been a client of CAA since 2016, but the agency opted to terminate their connection in light of the scandal.

Additionally, MRC, the production company that was slated to publish Kanye’s documentary, has stated that it will no longer collaborate with the rapper.

The firm issued the following statement: “We cannot endorse any content that bolsters his platform.”

“The silence of politicians and corporations on Kanye West or anti-Semitism in general is disheartening but not unexpected. What is new and unfortunate is the fear that Jews have of defending themselves.”

Kim Kardashian has publicly denounced Ye’s comments.

The 42-year-old celebrity expressed her support for the Jewish community via social media.

Kardashian, who has children North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three, with the rapper, stated on Twitter, “Hate speech is never acceptable or excusable. I stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and demand an immediate end to the horrific violence and vile words directed at them.

Despite this, she did not specifically name her ex-husband.

Ye took nearly two hours to apologize for the “pain” he caused with his offensive remarks during his October 19 appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

He stated, “I’m sorry for the individuals I’ve injured with DEFCON… for the confusion I’ve caused. I feel responsible for causing pain and confusion, and I apologize to the families that had nothing to do with the trauma I endured.

“Hurt people injured others, and I myself was hurt.”
