Jill Stuart, a fashion designer, has sold her Hamptons home.
Earlier this month, the exquisite Sagaponack property at 113 Parsonage Lane sold for $9.35 million. It last asked $10.99 million. In June 2021, it was first listed with a separate broker for $13,99 million.
Stuart sued her estranged husband Ron Curtis, the CEO of her apparel firm, two years prior to listing the East End mansion, alleging she lost $25 million due to his mismanagement of a family trust. Although Stuart could not be reached for comment, sources indicate that the couple’s divorce processes continue.
The interiors of the 5,000-square-foot modern farmhouse on 1.6 acres were designed by architect Annabelle Selldorf, who previously built Stuart’s six-bedroom penthouse at the Philip Johnson-designed Urban Glass House in Soho.
The entryway of the Hamptons house leads to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace. In addition, there is an eat-in chef’s kitchen, a media/family room, and an outdoor-accessible dining area with French doors. Additionally, the main level features a junior bedroom suite and an additional guest bedroom. There are four ensuite bedrooms on the second floor, including a master suite with a second wood-burning fireplace, a windowed dressing room, and a spa-like bath. On the property is a pool house with a gym, a restroom, and a laundry area.
There are bluestone patios, a gas fire pit, a pool, a Jacuzzi, a four-car garage, groomed gardens, and plenty space for tennis courts outside.
Page Six said that the listing broker was Kelly Bensimon of Douglas Elliman, an alumna of “The Real Housewives of New York City” who is also a potential cast member for its upcoming spin-off series, “Legacy.”
Bensimon, a broker in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and Florida, now oversees a staff of twelve and informs Gimme Shelter that she has clients in Paris, Brazil, London, and Australia.
