Jennifer Coolidge says American Pie sparked her acting career and sexual escapade

Jennifer Coolidge, 60, who played Jeanine “Stifler’s Mom” Stifler, Speaking to Variety, says American Pie brought her alot of sexual actions and opened doors to other acting roles.

Prior to American Pie, the actress struggled to find acting job. She claimed that after years of rejection, she felt as though she had nothing to lose rather than being depressed.

“Ya know, I got a lot of play being a MILF.
“And I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie. There was so many benefits to doing that movie … There would be, like, 200 people that I would never have slept with.” she says.
 
Because to her performance, she was given the opportunity to reprise her character in American Pie 2 (2001), American Wedding (2003), and American Reunion (2012). She also got roles in Legally Blonde and A Cinderella Story, as well as a small role in Friends, an enduring sitcom.
She said “The fear is gone when you’re so used to losing. There’s some freedom in that.”
