Entertainment journalist Jason Kennedy expressed his support for Ashley Graham following her awkward interview with Hugh Grant on the red carpet of the 2023 Oscars.
Kennedy tweeted that Graham did well in working around Grant’s “nonsense” and reassured a Twitter troll who criticized Graham’s interview that it was pre-produced and not her call to choose who to interview.
Graham’s interaction with Grant went viral, with the actor giving short, clipped answers to her questions and rolling his eyes.
However, in a TMZ interview the following day, Graham shared her goal of “killing people with kindness” without elaborating on Grant’s attitude.
She also mentioned that she had a good time doing pre-show coverage for ABC.
Grant has yet to publicly address the viral moment, but in a recent interview, he admitted to losing his temper with a woman on the set of his upcoming movie “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.”
He compared his “terrible” tantrum to Christian Bale’s outburst on the set of “Terminator: Salvation” in 2009.
Grant, who is married to Anna Eberstein and a father of five, shares daughter Tabitha and son Felix with Tinglan Hong, and son John and two daughters with Eberstein.
