After becoming enraged that the pool table was being used, a guy fired several shots at the restaurant from 200 feet away before escaping, killing a young woman.

After being dragged out for a night on the town with her pals, Jailene Holton, 21, of Philadelphia, was shot while standing in the rear of the Philly Bar and Grill on Tuesday night.

According to her family, she didn’t go out often.

Holton, who was the group’s designated driver and recently turned 21 while working at Target, was restrained by pals who advised her: “You’re 21 now, you need to go out,” according to Fox 29 Philadelphia.

A man fired several rounds at the restaurant from 200 feet away before departing after becoming furious that the pool table was being used, killing a young woman.

Jailene Holton, 21, of Philadelphia was shot on Tuesday night while she was standing in the back of the Philly Bar and Grill after being dragged out for a night on the town with her friends.

Her family claimed that she rarely went out.

According to Fox 29 Philadelphia, Holton, who was the group’s designated driver and recently turned 21 while working at Target, was restrained by friends who told her: “You’re 21 now, you need to go out.”

She was the sole victim of the shooting who was shot.

The breaking glass harmed one other customer, a man, who received medical attention.

The police chief inspector Scott Small stated that they discovered Holton “unresponsive” and “suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.”

She underwent an emergency operation after being taken to the hospital, but she passed away from her wounds around four in the morning.

The hardest aspect, according to Holton’s unidentified mother, who spoke to Fox 29, was that her son “never goes out.”

James Holton, her uncle, recalls being surprised when he learned the news.

He told CBS Philadelphia, “I get the phone on the way home from work and I’m like, “What do you mean she’s been shot?” She was a decent child.

She was often at home while working. She didn’t frequent the streets and didn’t go out often. She took a seat by herself.

Holton’s uncle also criticized the city, referring to it as the “wild west” because of the ongoing gun violence.

More than 250 homicides have already occurred in the city this year.

With 562 homicides in one year last year, the city experienced its worst homicide rate ever.

“When are people going to have enough of this city’s careless shooting?” James was questioned in a Fox 29 interview.

“[The shooters] only receive a mouthpiece for 20 seconds on TV.” Everyone is scurrying around like it’s the Wild West, and cowards are firing at a pub from at least 100 feet away.

He said dejectedly, “Someone goes outside for 10 or 15 minutes, and they’re dead.” “How is that just?”

How many kids must perish before people declare “this is enough”?

He added that Larry Krasner, the mayor, should “stop handcuffing” cops, and that the government should “stop coddling these criminals and hold people accountable.”

The family has established a GoFundMe to assist with funeral costs.

According to the page, “On June 28th, our Jailene was a helpless spectator caught in the thick of another terrible act of violence in the city.”

Jailene was a young, intelligent, and beautiful lady with a whole life ahead of her.
