Friends of Jack Nicholson have expressed concern about the actor’s lonely lifestyle, expressing worry about the outcome.
The three-time Oscar winner has not been seen in public for almost a year, and his friends claim he is “living like a recluse.”
Multiple sources told RadarOnline that the 85-year-old actor “no longer leaves his home” and that his “mind is gone,” citing potential dementia as a cause for concern.
In October 2021, the father of five was last spotted attending a Los Angeles Lakers game at the Staples Center with his son Ray.
According to the story, Nicholson spends the majority, if not all, of his time in his luxurious Beverly Mansion. In 2005, he paid $5 million to his pal, the late Marlon Brando, for the opulent property. The 3,303-square-foot residence includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a swimming pool.
“He has made it very known that his home is his castle. “People wish he would come out of the house to tell them how he’s doing, or at least to reassure them he’s okay,” a source told the publication.
“Jack is in contact with certain relatives – especially Ray, his protégé, of whom he is so proud – but his socializing days are over,” said the source, referring to the actor’s 30-year-old son with ex-wife Rebecca Broussard.
In addition, individuals close to the “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” actor are concerned that his reclusiveness is increasingly becoming that of Brando.

Despite leading a colorful life as a Hollywood elite, the star of “The Godfather,” who passed away in 2004, spent his last years alone.
“Brando died a virtual recluse after such a colorful life, and Jack’s friends are drawing parallels,” a source told the publication. His children will visit, but they are his only link to the outside world.
“It seems as if he no longer wants to face reality, which is sad,” they added.
In the 2011 romantic comedy “How Do You Know,” Nicholson played opposite Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson.
In terms of his private life, the actor was wed to Sandra Knight for six years beginning in 1962.
The actress Anjelica Huston represented his longest relationship. The couple dated from 1973 till their relationship ended in 1990.
In 2021, individuals worried for Nicholson’s welfare told RadarOnline that his son Ray and sister Lorraine were “looking after him.”
“The Mulholland Drive community is quite close-knit, and they are all concerned about him,” an insider claimed at the time, adding, “Physically, he’s fine, but his mind has vanished.”
It’s awful to see such a wonderful performer like Jack pass away in this manner.
It is assumed that the actor is currently unmarried and lives alone.
