International Coordinator, UN PEPOLAC, Right Reverend Ozoemena Scores Obiano High On Development

As the administration of the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano is gradually winding down, the International Coordinator, United Nations, Peace and Positive Living Awareness Centre, UN PEPOLAC, Right Reverend Ozioma Ozoemena says the Obiano’s administration has planted his footprints in the development of the state.

 

Right Reverend Ozoemena who is also the Presiding Bishop of Holy Ghost Newlife International Church Incorporated, stated this while chatting with newsmen at the Anambra Broadcasting Service Awka.

 

Correspondent Emmanuel Chigbata, reports that Bishop Ozoemena explained that the Obiano’s administration in the past eight years has been an immense blessing to Ndi Anambra, adding that he has been able to immortalize himself with various signature projects ranging from building an International Passenger and Cargo Airport at Umueri, International Convention Center, Awka township stadium and other infrastructural and human capital development that are cardinal to Ndi Anambra and beyond.

The Prelate pointed out that the Governor has received wide commendations due to his prompt payment of workers’ salaries which is why he was nicknamed Alert Governor, while maintaining that Obiano’s administration did not abandon her responsibility in all facets of human and socio-economic development.

 

He extolled Governor Obiano for making the state the most peaceful with top priority on protection of lives and property, while maintaining that Anambra communities have benefited widely through the twenty-million-naira Community Choose Your Project Initiative.

 

Bishop Ozoemena expressed optimism that the incoming administration led by Professor Chukwuma Soludo will consolidate on Obiano’s achievements in making Anambra a megacity.

 

The bishop described the state of the nation as really worrisome that requires national prayer and deliverance even as he called on the government to live up to its responsibility and mitigate hardship, bloodletting and banditry.

 

He called that the 2023 Presidential election be zoned to the South East for the interest of equity, justice and fairness.
