Authorities say a cement truck crashed on top of a 1-year-old boy’s automobile in Houston, Texas.

Friday, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez revealed a child’s death.

A cement truck lost control, flew over an overpass, and crashed on a car with four persons inside.

KHOU reported a 54-year-old lady, a 24-year-old woman, and 22-month-old twins.

Lt. Simon Cheng, a Harris County sheriff’s officer, said the youngster died.

Others were transferred to a nearby hospital and are stable, Cheng added.

Cheng claimed the cement truck driver wasn’t impaired or drunk.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office is examining possible charges.

Nicholas Resendiz was recognised by his mother in a GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser calls the family’s loss “unexpected and devastating.”

“Baby Nicolas Resendiz died in a freak cement truck accident,” the campaign claimed.

“While our family is still in shock, we realise that the days ahead will be much more tough as mom makes funeral plans,” it continued.
