As the grand final of Love Island was approaching, Iain was invited to the show to discuss his new stand-up show, Relevant.

The 35-year-old comedian, who happens to be married to former Love Island host Laura Whitmore, was in for a surprise when Alex Jones brought up the intriguing connection.

Alex asked Iain if it was true that he had a personal link to a particular contestant outside the Love Island villa.

Iain gladly confirmed the connection, explaining that the contestant in question hailed from Edinburgh.

He revealed that this contestant, whom he amusingly described as “gorgeous,” had done some work in his auntie’s kitchen about three years ago.

The humorous twist was that Iain initially misspoke, stating that the contestant, Ouzy See, had installed his auntie’s kitchen when, in fact, it was the bathroom.

Roman couldn’t contain his surprise and exclaimed at the unexpected coincidence.

Iain playfully joked about how his family was getting a former Love Island winner, Tommy Fury from the 2019 season, to install a hot tub.

Laughter filled the studio as the hosts and audience enjoyed the light-hearted banter.
