Hunter Biden praised Kevin McCarthy’s mother

At the White House state dinner last month, Hunter Biden praised Kevin McCarthy’s mother and claimed to be ‘friends’ with the GOP leader.

McCarthy, who had brought his mother to the State Dinner honoring Emmanuel Macron on December 1, was allegedly contacted by President Joe Biden’s scandal-plagued son and his wife Melissa Cohen Biden.

Hunter reportedly stated to Roberta McCarthy, “Mrs. McCarthy, you look gorgeous,” as related in a Wednesday story by The New York Times.

The president’s son, 52, said with a grin, “I’m a friend of your son,” according to a witness, who was there for the brief conversation.

Since they were among the few early arrivals to the dinner last month, the two ran into one another. Before Hunter made his strange remark to McCarthy’s mother, they shook hands.

Republicans had just taken control of the House at the time of the meal, and McCarthy had promised to follow through on a campaign promise to start looking into Hunter and his father.

Requests for comment about the short altercation with the hunter were not immediately answered by McCarthy’s office.

The first State Dinner of Biden’s administration took place last month. The first of two State Dinners hosted by former President Donald Trump also honored French President Emmanuel Macron.

Although their short exchange was known, its specifics have not yet been revealed.

Some individuals who watched the exchange believed it to be a “typical Biden-style moment of attempting to charm a foe,” according to a Washington Post piece published last month.

As his list of alleged offenses grows, so does Hunter’s team of attorneys and advisors. He is assembling a dream squad to defend him against upcoming investigations by the newly Republican-led House.

The most recent is that Hunter may shortly be charged for filing bogus tax deductions.

The Times said that Hunter’s Chinese business partner had consulted him for guidance on the FBI because a fellow employee was under investigation. According to the article, charges may be coming soon in part because of assertions that he claimed company deductions for $30,000 in tax deductions.

Since at least 2020, David Weiss, the US attorney in Delaware, has had Hunter on his radar.

He could also be charged with a crime related to the.38 caliber revolver he bought in October 2018 after fraudulently claiming he was not a drug addict, despite the fact that he was at the time.

The president’s son may be seen in photos from Hunter’s laptop that were left at a Wilmington, Delaware repair shop in a number of inappropriate poses, including one with a crack pipe hanging out of his mouth.

The U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware, according to documentation submitted by Hunter’s attorneys to the Justice Department, has never filed a stand-alone firearms prosecution for lying about drug usage.

Chris Clark, a well-known criminal defense attorney, has been handling the Justice Department inquiry.

Abbe Lowell, a well-known Washington attorney, was also recently retained by Hunter to handle the upcoming congressional probes.
