Julius Randle is building a compelling case for a second All-Star selection in the last three seasons. Here is how Randle compares to his frontcourt reserve competition in the Eastern Conference:

Joel Embiid, center for the 76ers: Out of Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, and Jayson Tatum, only Embiid could serve as a reserve. However, the MVP candidate is averaging a career-high 33.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game.

Julius Randle, forward with the Knicks, has returned to form after a poor 2021-22 campaign, averaging 24.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. He has a field goal percentage of 46,1 percent and a three-point percentage of 34,6 percent.

Bam Adebayo, center for the Heat, is an All-Star in 2019-20 and is having a career year, averaging 21.6 points (on 54 percent field goal shooting), 10.2 rebounds, three assists, and 1.1 steals a game.

Pascal Siakam, center/forward with the Raptors: Siakam is averaging 25.2 points (on 47.7 percent shooting), 8.3 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in an NBA-high 37.6 minutes per game, despite playing for a club with a losing record. This included scoring 52 points against the Knicks.

The six-time All-Star continues to contribute at age 33, averaging 21.6 points (on 51.6% shooting), 6.1 rebounds, five assists, and 2.1 steals a game for the Heat forward Jimmy Butler.
