Global COVID-19 cases cross 536.89 million

WASHINGTON, 20th June, 2022 (WAM) — More than 536.89 million people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and 6,729,555 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Monday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
