A buddy of a learner driver who allegedly crashed into a power pole in Sydney’s south, injuring five adolescents, posted images of the wrecked vehicle online mere hours after the horrific accident.

Friday about 6 a.m., 18-year-old Jordan Tye Maaka allegedly lost control and crashed his Honda Accord while rounding a bend on Stoney Creek Road in Beverly Hills.

The adolescent, who allegedly drove with a suspended license due to unpaid fines, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.

Four passengers, two 16-year-old females and two 15- and 16-year-old boys, were treated at the scene before being sent to the hospital in stable condition.

Maaka was issued a warrant for his arrest after failing to appear in court on Tuesday after being granted bail on Sunday.

A few hours after the incident, a buddy of Maaka’s uploaded photographs of the debris captured by a news outlet to Facebook with the caption: “s**t mayne” (slang for “man”).

Another friend reassured Maaka, who is facing numerous charges, that everything would be fine in the comments.

“You will be quite large,” he continued.

Ten days ago, five teens perished in a crash strikingly similar to this one in Buxton, southwest of Sydney. This catastrophe has shaken the community, which is still in mourning.

Numerous individuals have taken to the Internet to voice their dismay that the Buxton tragedy did not appear to serve as a lesson to teens of the dangers and responsibilities associated with driving.

Five families are grieving the death of a child who was murdered in Buxton a week ago, says one woman.

This easily could have been five additional families grieving the loss of loved ones.

The same person who tweeted footage of the wreckage also shared a news article about the fatal Buxton incident few days earlier.

Maaka attended Bass Hill High School in Sydney’s southwest, barely 13 kilometers from the crash site in Beverly Hills, according to social media.

In a Facebook post from the previous year, Maaka posted a photo of himself exhaling a large cloud of smoke and referred to himself as a “eshay” – a subculture of urban adolescents characterized by coarse language, rebelliousness, and quirky dress.

“Who is that sexy c***?” remarked a buddy.

Maaka responded, “His name is lobob… My cat… Eshay eshay cat.”

It is unclear what Maaka’s response precisely signifies.

Maaka stated in the comments that he “goes by the moniker of lobob” and referred to himself as a “eshay.”

Maaka has been charged with reckless driving resulting in serious bodily injury, negligent driving resulting in serious bodily injury, three charges of causing injury while in control of a motor vehicle, and driving while suspended.

Sunday, he appeared in Parramatta Local Court via video link from his hospital bed, where he was under police guard and suffering from multiple injuries, including a fractured arm.

According to reports, he did not appear in Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday for a hearing about his case.

Tuesday at 3.30 p.m., Magistrate Melissa Humphreys issued an arrest warrant after the police prosecutor informed the court that he would refer the matter to the Director of Public Prosecutions, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Friday, witnesses told Daily Mail Australia that the alleged driver was disoriented and restless.

The two female passengers were laying on the sidewalk next to the vehicle, one unable to speak and the other screaming with a cut on her neck that was bleeding.

Glen Norrish, who lives in the house in front of where the car crashed, claimed he was awakened at 5:30 a.m. by a “almighty bang” and walked outside to discover the alleged driver, the two injured females, and another young man leaning on his letterbox with his leg bleeding.

Mr. Norrish stated that a second young man was trapped in the middle of the rear seat.

He stated, “The car was sort of smoking, and I was prepared to grab the fire extinguisher.”

Mr. Norrish stated that he instructed the two adolescents to remain awake.

“One had a rather severe cut on her neck, and I kept telling the other to keep her eyes open,” he explained.

“This is a dangerous stretch of road, but (I believe) speed was a factor.”

I believe the girl with the wound on her neck who was screaming also injured her neck.

“As seen by the damage to that barrier, they were moving swiftly.”

One of the female passengers is believed to have had injuries to her hip and chest, while the other sustained a head injury. Both patients were transported to St. George Hospital and have subsequently been released.

Two 15- and 16-year-old male passengers were also treated at the scene and transported to Liverpool Hospital in stable condition, but have since been discharged.

During the court on Sunday, Maaka was given bail on the condition that he does not leave his home unless he is with his mother, going to work, or returning home.

Additionally, he is prohibited from occupying the driver’s seat of any motor vehicle and must report to the front door of his Warwick Farm bail residence if summoned by authorities.

The Beverley Hills collision occurred 10 days after five adolescents were killed in Buxton (pictured)

On September 6, five classmates from Picton High School between the ages of 14 and 16 were killed in a horrific car crash in Sydney’s south-west, Buxton.

Assistant Commissioner of the New South Wales Police, Brett McFadden, stated that there were eerie parallels between the crash in Beverly Hills and the one in Buxton.

Tyrell Edwards, 18, is charged with five counts of reckless driving after five of his passengers were killed in a high-speed incident on September 6 night.

Three girls and two guys from Picton High School were all killed in the disaster.

Antonio Desisto, Tyrese Bechard, Summer Williams, Lily Van De Putte, and Gabriella McLennan, all ages 14 to 16, were killed when a Nissan Navara ute in Buxton left the road.

Edwards, the alleged driver, escaped the collision with non-life-threatening injuries and is in custody.

Asst. Cmdr. McFadden stated, “We have a direct correlation with the recent events in Buxton.”

“We are extremely fortunate that no more five lives were lost.”

“We should not aspire to drive like these complete moron motorists.”

We must ensure that, as a community, we are doing all possible to prevent these occurrences
