Instead, the Internet has focused on the policewoman who escorted Lionel Guedj and his father Carnot into court, as well as her Kim Kardashian-esque derriere.

One observer commented, “We need to get to the bottom of this,” while another wrote that she “had backup for days” amidst other jokes about “police booty.”

Others contemplated committing a crime to meet her, with one writing: “Someone, please tell me the name of this neighborhood; I need to be arrested.”

Some began to question whether the officer was genuine or had been edited to attract attention.

Internet sleuths swiftly unearthed video of her walking the Guedjs into court, proving her authenticity.

Reddit user rafael6969 inquired, “Does anyone know her?” “I’m still searching,” was the response.

Guedj, 41, was sentenced to eight years in prison for performing needless surgeries on thousands of underprivileged patients in Marseilles.

From 2006 to 2012, he would perform root canal treatments on patients who came in for fillings while seeing up to 70 people per day.

Then, he would collect the funds through social security, raking in millions of pounds annually.

In 2010, he was Europe’s highest-earning dentist, having earned £2.9 million at the height of his misconduct.

Social media users were quick to make jokes, with some stating they would go to prison for the opportunity to meet her.

The court heard that he owned a Ferrari, a yacht worth £700,000, and Warhol paintings.

He also amassed a real estate empire consisting of three apartments in Paris, two in the Alps, and an entire building in the southern French city of Perpignan.

In the meantime, many of his patients had chronic pain and tooth loss as a result of his botched procedures.

“By the time I was 45, I had lost half of my teeth, and by the time I was 55, I had none but implants,” said Ouassila, who declined to provide her full name prior to the verdict.

The court found them guilty of mutilating over 300 patients and damaging the nerves inside nearly 4,000 teeth.

Father Carnot, a dentist who worked for his son, was sentenced to five years in prison.

Lionel and Carnot contested the mutilation charge, but implied they would consent to the lesser charge of involuntary harm.

Lionel said in court that he never intended to damage his patients.

Lionel Guedj and his father Carnot were each sentenced to eight years in prison for performing thousands of needless surgeries on patients.
