Former Orlando Pirates striker expresses remorse for leaving Kaizer Chiefs

A former Orlando Pirates striker has expressed remorse for leaving the Kaizer Chiefs, for whom he played from 2015 to 2016. Even though he want more playing time, Bongani Ndulula believes he should not have left Chiefs for Chippa United.

Ndulula was not a regular at Chiefs, therefore he addressed the management and asked to be released prior to the expiration of his contract.

Ndulula left Chiefs without scoring a goal in the five matches he appeared in during his season at Naturena.

“I played six to seven games for the Chiefs,” Ndulula informed Andile Ncube, according FARPost.

“Every time I was given the chance to play, I was hurt. When I was at Chiefs, teams were not lining up to sign me.

“I just requested my release from the team because I believe I will receive more playing time elsewhere.” He stated, “In retrospect, I should have stayed at Chiefs and battled for my position instead of leaving to Chippa.

“During my entire stay at Chippa, I was never able to make the 18-man squad. I have never had the opportunity to play.

“However, I recall reading in the newspaper that I have gained weight. Surprisingly, no one has ever discussed this topic with me. It was offensive that Chippa believed I had gained weight, said Ndulula.
