The United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has appointed Lai Mohammed, the former Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism in Nigeria, as the Special Advisor to Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary General of UNWTO.
The announcement was made during the commencement of the 66th UNWTO Commission for Africa (CAF) in Mauritius.
Lai Mohammed brings to the position a wealth of experience, having actively engaged with UNWTO for seven years, contributing significantly to various functions within the global tourism body.
