First Vehicle Track School offered by MasterDrive will soon arrive

MasterDrive Cape Town’s first event of the year will take place this Saturday, beginning off the year in a great manner. Killarney International Raceway will host its inaugural Car Track School powered by MasterDrive. The day promises to be filled with excitement on the race, entertainment off the track, and some well-deserved refreshments and snacks.

Eugene Herbert, the chief executive officer of MasterDrive, believes that there is no better way to kick off the track experiences at Killarney in 2023 than with a dual-purpose event. “The first objective is to enjoy some track time, a rare chance for many drivers. The second is to learn from the MasterDrive instructors’ years of considerable driving experience to become the finest potential driver.

“One of the finest places to learn how to turn heads with your automobile control skills is on the track, without the safety issues posed by other vehicles and obstructions, and with an experienced coach by your side. Herbert asserts that there is no better opportunity for car-loving drivers to enjoy the thrill of a track in a controlled atmosphere alongside other like-minded drivers.

The executive manager of Killarney International Raceway, Des Easom, states that their first event of the year demonstrates their dedication to road safety. “The Car Track School powered by MasterDrive will improve driving to a higher quality than simply “gearing down” to comply with speed limits. In the interim, drivers’ and their families’ safety is enhanced by the enhancement of their skills.

“Not all participants drive performance vehicles; there are drivers at the track school with vehicles ranging from hatchbacks to hot rods. “Regardless of their vehicle, drivers take advantage of the opportunity to converse with the experienced instructors and then implement their advice during the next track session,” explains Easom.

Des Easom, Executive Manager of Killarney International Raceway MasterDrive, will be there with their Hi-Performance Experience vehicles. Gino Nourse, general manager of MasterDrive’s coastal regions, elaborates: “Not only will drivers learn insider tips from seasoned instructors, but they will also spend time during one of the breaks getting up close and personal with the performance cars that form the foundation of our Hi-Performance Experience.

“We look forward to providing driving advice gleaned from many years of training, practice, and experience on both the racetrack and in everyday driving, which frequently seems like navigating a racetrack. “It is a privilege to share these skills at Killarney’s inaugural event in 2023, and we are proud to be a part of such a worthwhile endeavor,” says Nourse.
