Fifth day of ‘plant based future’ protesters target Droitwich dairy

Thursday morning, a representative for the organization defended the disruptive action by stating that it “comes from a place of love and genuine concern for our one planet.”

‘Such actions are our only recourse when the government refuses to act on the climate and ecological disaster we face and disregards other channels of communication. They exclaimed, “Time is running out.”

It comes just one day after nine activists blocked the intersection at Parliament Street at 10:45 a.m. by pouring milk on the road and spraying the Elizabeth Tower with white paint using modified fire extinguishers.

Others adhered themselves to the pavement in front of the parliamentary estate.

At today’s demonstration, vegan activists sat in the street with a banner reading “plant-based future” and screamed about dairy distribution sites in the United Kingdom.

Climate and animal rights activists say they have targeted Liz Truss ahead of her first Prime Minister’s Questions in an attempt to push her to negotiate their demands.

They stated that they painted the monument white to symbolize the ruin and cruelty of the dairy business.

This is the fifth consecutive day of the group’s anti-dairy rallies as part of their “Plant-Based Future” campaign, which they claim has resulted in empty milk shelves in Plymouth, Portsmouth, Bristol, and Birmingham.
