Flight to the UK from Pakistan: Sara Sharif’s Father and Relatives
Reports indicate that Sara Sharif’s father, along with his partner and brother, is en route to the UK from Pakistan. Sara, a 10-year-old, tragically lost her life at her home in Woking, prompting a police investigation initiated by her father, Urfan Sharif, who called authorities from Pakistan. This distressing incident occurred at approximately 2.50am on August 10.
A subsequent post-mortem examination revealed that Sara had suffered “multiple and extensive injuries” over an extended period. Consequently, an international manhunt has been underway for Mr. Sharif, his stepmother Beinash Batool, and his uncle Faisal Malik. They had departed for Pakistan from the UK just one day before Sara’s lifeless body was discovered.
Recent reports suggest that the three individuals were on a flight bound for the UK, with the journey starting in Dubai. Pakistani authorities have stated that the trio traveled voluntarily. They were expected to arrive at London Gatwick airport later on the same day.
Meanwhile, Surrey Police have been diligently working to ensure the safe return of Sara’s five siblings from Pakistan. Following a court ruling, the children were temporarily relocated to a government childcare facility. All five kids had accompanied the three adults to Pakistan on August 9. The ultimate destination for the children and the duration of their stay in the facility remain unclear.
Notably, the children were discovered at the home of Sara’s grandfather, Muhammad Sharif, in the city of Jhelum, located in the northeastern part of Pakistan. Mr. Sharif confirmed that he had been harboring the children in his home, although he did not specify for how long.
Last week, Ms. Batool broke her silence and addressed Sara’s tragic death publicly. In a video clip posted online, she displayed no visible emotion as she referred to the incident involving Sara and expressed a willingness to cooperate with UK authorities in the case.
Sara’s mother, Olga Sharif, shared her heart-wrenching experience of viewing her daughter’s body in an interview with the Polish television program “Uwaga!” She described the injuries Sara had sustained, stating, “One of her cheeks was swollen, and the other side was bruised. Even now, when I close my eyes, I can see what my baby looked like.”
Surrey Police have yet to provide official comments on the matter.
