False Recruitment Warning

The Management of Federal University Gusau (FUGUS), Zamfara State, has been made aware of an online advertisement titled “Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) Recruitment 2022 Application Form Portal” dated October 12, 2022, requesting applications from the general public for a number of vacancies at the University.

The Administration wishes to emphasize emphatically that the publication is a fake and does not originate from the University; therefore, it should be disregarded.
Similarly, the Administration rejects a second publication attributed to the University’s Information Officer stating that the University will reopen and resume academic activities in October 2022.

University Management dissociates itself from the two articles that are currently circulating on social media in an attempt to deceive the public.

The public is consequently strongly encouraged to disregard the releases.
