On Friday, former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard criticized her former party, comparing their focus on diversity to the principles of Nazism and Adolf Hitler.
In an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Gabbard expressed her concern about the Democratic Party’s “agenda of identity politics,” which she claimed directly undermines the traditional democratic values of judging people by their character and not the color of their skin.
Gabbard stated that the Party’s pride in judging, hiring, and selecting people based on race and genetics is a serious problem, and she warned that such principles embodied those of Nazism and Adolf Hitler. She urged every single Democrat and American to be sickened and alarmed by the connection.
These remarks follow recent statements from the Biden administration that highlight their diversity, including the majority of female and people of color cabinet, as well as senior staff identifying as female, racially diverse communities, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
Gabbard served in Congress from 2013 until 2021 and was a vice-chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. She has since become a frequent contributor to Fox News, where she often expresses her opinions on political issues.
