Eritrean nationals in South Sudan and Denmark commemorate Martyrs Day with patriotic zeal

Martyrs Day was commemorated with patriotic zeal by Eritrean nationals in South Sudan and Denmark, with various programs.

The Mayor of Juba, as well as Ambassadors and Charge d’affaires from Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Tanzania, South Africa, Nigeria, and the African Union, attended the remembrance event in South Sudan.

At the event, nationals vowed to support 68 martyr families by donating $10,000 to the National Trust Fund.

Similarly, citizens of Copenhagen, Denmark, marked Martyrs Day with a variety of cultural and artistic acts.

The participants also showed a strong desire to increase contributions in support of martyr families.
