During a bizarre catwalk show, a model for London Fashion Week flaunts Tesco bags.

To seem stylish, you don’t have to spend a fortune.

It turns out that all you need is a hot glue gun and two used Tesco bags.

At London Fashion Week, JW Anderson honored Michael Clark Company with a runway presentation.

The 2008-established British label, which was formed by Jonathan Anderson, took stock of its previous 15 years.

Moreover, a model flaunted a Tesco-branded clothing as they strutted down the runway yesterday, February 19.

The catwalk model wore a structured one-piece that was constructed from two grocery bags.

Along with sculpted shoulders and a plunging neckline, a collar was also incorporated.

Instead of using eye-catching embellishments, stylists chose to send the model down the catwalk wearing loose white socks.

The amount of styling was very minimal.

The model wore an edgy hairstyle, avoided jewelry, and looked to be wearing nothing on her face.

This is a compilation about fandom, according to Anderson’s show notes. Fandom is a weird thing: utterly subjective, frequently absurd, frequently embarrassing. Michael allowed me to go through his collection as I went back through my own archive and pulled pieces from each collection over the previous fifteen years for this show. It assisted me in identifying my own obsessions.

On JW Anderson’s Instagram page, images from the London Fashion Week show received more than 3,000 likes.

And several gushed about the unusual appearance.

Commenter 1 stated: “Awesome! My favorite collection, by far.”

“Art and fashion have never come this close,” another person wrote.

A fourth person commented, “Loved the show so so so very much.”

Nevertheless, some people weren’t as persuaded to repurpose their used Tesco bags as clothing!

A critic made a pun: “Tesco tote? Had the option to choose something more upscale, like M&S or Waitrose.”
