Due to a Jetstar glitch, thousands of Australians are stranded in Bali

Due to a severe Jetstar issue, tens of thousands of Australian tourists are stranded in Bali and attempting to get home.

Every day in September, flights between Australia and Bali have been canceled.

The concerns have originated from engineering issues aboard Jetstar jets

There are between one thousand and four thousand persons stranded in Bali.

Since the beginning of September, every single flight between Australia and Bali has been canceled owing to technical concerns.

Neil Mitchell told 3AW on Monday that between one thousand and four thousand people are stranded in Bali.

Multiple flight cancellations necessitated a five-day wait for some passengers to be rebooked on another Jetstar trip.

Every day in September, flights between Australia and Bali have been canceled owing to technical concerns.

Since the troubles began late last week, Australians have vented their frustrations at Jetstar.

“Tonight’s Jetstar flight from Bali to Sydney is canceled,” Next flight in four days, winning,’ one individual said on the Facebook page for Bali Bogans.

Others have reported being stranded abroad for up to a week, expressing concern that the delays may affect their employment.

A man wrote, “We were caught up in it last night; the next direct flight to Sydney is next Friday, six days after our initial flight.”

Another passenger commented, “Thanks Jetstar, on the way back from Bali, my 12:45 p.m. flight was rescheduled twice, and if I don’t make it to Melbourne tonight, I’ll lose my job.”

Given that ‘Spirit of Australia’ owns budget carrier Qantas, some have urged that passengers be rebooked on available Qantas flights.

QF had a flight departing at the EXACT SAME TIME that we could have boarded. Tonight, the same Jetstar flight was canceled. Some individuals wait three days. Thousands are stuck in Australia and Bali. The JQ workers are maligne, yet it is not their fault. Appalling management,’ a man complained. Since the troubles began late last week, angry Australians have vented their ire at Jetstar.

A Jetstar representative told NCANewswire that certain flights between Australia and Denpasar, the capital of Bali, had been canceled due to “technical issues.”

Due to engineering needs, we’ve had to cancel several routes between Australia and Denpasar, they added.

Please accept our heartfelt apologies for the aggravation and difficulty this outage has caused our customers.

As a temporary solution to send customers home, the airline said it was considering transferring passengers to Qantas aircraft.

Jetstar stated, “Our staff are exploring all options to get travellers on their way as soon as possible, including seats on Qantas aircraft and ad hoc services where possible.”

A flight credit or refund will also be offered to travelers who choose not to fly.
