According to reports from Naija News, the secret police agency, DSS, posted a series of tweets mocking Maxwell Okpara, a legal practitioner who had filed a contempt of court charge against the agency and its Director-General, Yusuf Bichi.

Okpara and other lawyers were protesting the continued detention of Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

DSS Slams Okpara and Defends Its Actions

Describing Okpara as a Biafra agitator and a charge and bail lawyer, the DSS criticized him for defending the suspended CBN Governor.

In their tweets, the agency questioned the connection between Okpara, IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafra), and the suspended governor, and suggested that Okpara be educated on the points of law.
