Drake and 21 Savage’s LP “Her Loss” delayed by COVID-19

Drake and 21 Savage have stated that the release of their album “Her Loss” has been pushed back by one week owing to producer Noah “40” Shebib’s illness.

Due to the affects of the coronavirus, Shebib, a longtime collaborator of Drake’s, was unable to complete his work on the tracks and the album will now be released on November 4 instead of Friday.

Drake said on his Instagram Stories, “Our brother @OVO40 contracted COVID while mixing and mastering the crack, so he’s resting up and November 4th is HER LOSS day. We’ll see you soon.”

Drake and 21 Savage merely announced the upcoming release of “Her Loss” last weekend.

Midway through the music video for “Jimmy Cooks,” a song from Drake’s 2022 album “Honestly, Nevermind” that includes 21 Savage, the album’s title and original release date were displayed.

Previous collaborations between Drake and 21 Savage include “Knife Talk” from Drake’s sixth studio album “Certified Lover Boy” and “Mr Right Now” from Savage and Metro Boomin’s 2020 album “Savage Mode II.”

On June 17, Drake’s seventh studio album, “Honestly, Nevermind,” was released unexpectedly.
