Danny Baldwinson, a body builder guilty of stalking ex girlfriend after she left him for gym rival

Danny Baldwinson, an 18-stone personal trainer, has been found guilty of stalking his ex-girlfriend, Aaliyah Baptiste. Baldwinson, who calls himself “Big Dan” on his personal training business’s webpage, harassed Baptiste with numerous messages, including derogatory remarks about her new partner.

Three abusive phone calls made by Baldwinson were played in court, where he described her new partner as “a four out of ten”. Despite Baptiste repeatedly asking Baldwinson to stop, he continued to pester her.

Baldwinson also went to her local gym, Muscleworks in Orpington, at times when he knew she would be training. Baldwinson was found to be in breach of a sixty-day suspended prison sentence that was handed to him last year for breaching a non-molestation order.

The prosecution has announced its intention to apply for a restraining order. Baldwinson will be sentenced on March 21 and is not allowed to contact Baptiste or visit her home address.
